I was the primary designer leading this project in Q3 2021 ideating early discovery and concepts, presenting regularly to leadership and subject matter experts, and delivering final designs for production.
I worked with multiple cross-functional teams including 1 product manager and a team of 3 mobile engineers.
FieldAware Small-Medium Business is a SaaS product that helps field service management companies run their businesses. Field service management is any business that has workers completing jobs in the "field", such as HVAC technicians, pest control, plumbing, and much more. The product does everything from create estimates and work orders, send and receive invoices, schedule jobs for technicians, and accounting.
The web app is typically used by back office workers and administrators. The mobile app is used for drivers and technicians who need to see their schedule, get details on the job they're assigned to, and take payments from customers after completion.
Under an epic to create multiple "visits" within a work order, this project's goal was to build the capability for a mobile app user to add or edit visits.
